Linda Arbanová, PhD. This is a theoretical study investigating the present-day free graphic arts (designs). It describes the main trends, materials and techniques used. The text contains an an- notated selection of several Czech and foreign authors, which illustrates the different mainstreams of contemporary graphic arts. The didactic part of this study contains a research on the topic entitled Relation of Ba- sic-School Students to the Graphic Arts and a suggestion of a didactic approach to Art teaching based on the results of the research. The creative part of the study shows my own works-based on the topic: Time of Natu- re-made with the combined technique of digital print and linocut.

Art group 12/15 and its place in the second half of the 20th century Czech art

Miroslava Mayerová Title of the Bachelor's Thesis: Art group 12/15 and its place in the second half of the 20th century Czech art Abstract This thesis focuses on the evolution and influence of art group 12/15 on socio-cultural development of society in the second half of the 20th century. The theoretical part encompasses the socio-cultural environment and historical situation before and during the formation of the group, describes its formation, and presents the work of individual group members until their second joint exhibition. The didactic part teaches students the group's activities by utilising concepts used by 12/15. The practical part of the work carries out didactic task and by form of self-assess evaluates its feasibility and usefulness. The work includes historical documents and articles about group.

The Linguostylistic Analysis of Sorokin's Novel "A Day of the Oprichnik" (In Comparison with the Czech Translation)

During the last three decades the work of Vladimir Sorokin has become well-known not only in Russia but also all over the world. His novels have been translated into many world languages. This is especially because of his individual attitude to Russia and its politics, history, and social issues, but also because of his attitude to literature and art. These topics are put into literary styles of post-modernism and conceptualism. In 2009 Czech translation of Sorokin's novel "A Day of the Oprichnik" was released. This novel was chosen for linguostylistic analysis because of its lexical and stylistic profuseness. In this thesis Vladimir Sorokin was put into the literary style. The novel "A Day of the Oprichnik" was briefly described, as well as basic characteristic of Oprichnina was summarized. In the detailed linguostylistic analysis were examined 17 historical terms and features (дьяк, приказ, скоморох, смута, стрелец, челобитная, ярлык, государь, калики перехожие, соборность, столбовой, трактир, домострой, гусляр, лик, трапеза, батя) helping to create Sorokin's fresco of the "new" Russia in the future. Theme of memory in A History of the World in 10 1/2 Chapters by Julian Barnes

The objective of this dissertation is to explore the theme of memory and its impact on how we tend to re-create and perceive history, as reflected in the book A History of the World in 10 and ½ Chapters. The goal is to interpret each chapter and make a plausible inference as to what the author intended to communicate concerning the postmodernist view of history. The theoretical groundwork of the thesis draws primarily on Hayden White's Metahistory; Paul Ricœur's La mémoire, l'histoire, l'oubli and Temps et Récit. Tome I. Other sources include interviews with Julian Barnes, Conversations with Julian Barnes by Vanessa Guignery; an essay by Frank Kermode, Stowaway Woodworm and of course the novel itself. Charles University in Prague, Faculty of education, Art education department. Title of the Diploma's Thesis: Art group 12/15 and its position in the Czech art after year 1989 ABSTRACT: The aim of the thesis is to describe and analyze the position of the Art Group 12/15 Better Late than never at Czech art scene after the year 1989, with an emphasis on generational changes and postmodern turn. In didactic part, the intention was to establish the awareness of the art group in the minds of students and, based on interdisciplinary ties, to repeat and broaden their knowledge of contexts. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on historical, art-historical and social science literature. To illustrate the time, atmosphere and position of Group 12/15 as precisely as possible, semi-structured and unstructured interviews with the group members themselves were used as a methodology. The diploma thesis shows that Group 12/15 and its generation are the bridge between the 2nd avant-garde, postmodern and contemporary art, maintaining the continuity of the Czech art scene. Professional values of social workers in the Diocesan Caritas Czech Budejovice.

The thesis deals with the organization structure of the Diocese Charity in České Budějovice (DCH ČB) as viewed through the eyes of social workers who are involved in the projects which DCH ČB arches over. In the introductory part of the thesis there is a description of the contemporary state of social work and the position of social workers in our post-modern society where social workers prefer to work in smaller communities where they can more easily adapt and co-form the rules for the organization and share ideas with people who have similar attitude to social work and how to control and carry it out the best. In connection with the outcome of the study there is a more detailed description of the organization structure of the DCH ČB which was set up according to Scheiner's formation of organization structures. In accordance with the organization structure there is a contemplation whether the DCH ČB does not have a tendency to incline towards ideological management without a possibility for the social workers to co-form the rules and have some autonomy in the projects of the DCH ČB, while the DCH ČB is in a position of an Ideological Hegemon.
